Ghanaian footballer in Italy is suspected of killing his mother and sister.

Solomon Nyantakyi, a Ghanaian footballer, was arrested by police in Italy on Wednesday morning for the double murder of his mother and sister. The former Parma midfielder stabbed his mother and sister multiple times on Tuesday afternoon in the family home in Via San Leonardo in the city of Parma.

New reports claim Cristiano Ronaldo 'went mad' at his teammates in the dressing room after Messi's late goal in Barcelona's El Classico win

Did you know that Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, nearly 'brought the roof down' on his teammates in the dressing room after Lionel Messi scored a late goal in Barcelona's win in the El Classico clash with Real Madrid? Cristiano Ronaldo wins Real Madrid's Healthiest Player of the Year award after social media votes

 Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo received an award on Sunday May 8th as the healthiest player in Real Madrid and was presented with the award before kick-off of the La Liga match against Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ronaldo was voted by the fans on social networks like Twitter and Facebook. Sanitas' CEO Inaki Peralta presented him with the award.

  Barely two days after midfielder Patrick Ekengdied collapsed during a match of the Championship of Romania, the Cameroonian Football Federation has been struck by yet another tragedy.

The Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) announced on Sunday, May 8, the passing of the goalie of the Femina Stars of Ebolowa, Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, during a first division match against club de Louves Minproff.

Nathalie Koah, ex-petite amie du footballeur Samuel Eto’o, “dévoile” la face cachée de la star camerounaise dans un livre intitulé “Revenge Porn”. Mais, suite à une plainte de l’attaquant, la parution prévue jeudi en France est interdite.

“Revenge Porn”, le témoignage d’une ex-petite amie du footballeur Samuel Eto’o, devait sortir ce jeudi 18 février dans les librairies françaises. Il a finalement été interdit de parution à la suite d’une plainte de l’ancien capitaine des Lions indomptables.

FIFA announces final 5 candidates to replace Sepp Blatter as president in February elections

 The ad-hoc Electoral Committee of the world's football governing body, FIFA, has announced the candidates that will contest in it's February 26th presidential election, that will herald a new reign in the leadership of football globally.

Names of the candidates include Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim AL Khalifa of Bahrain, Jersey Champagne of France, Gianni Infantino of Italy and Tokyo Sexwale of South Africa.

Age cheating holding back African teams including Cameroon – CIES report

Despite fielding the youngest players in A national teams in 2015, Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon continue to remain underachievers due to endemic age cheating, a CIES report has stated.

In its January 2016 report, the Swiss-based Football Observatory cast doubt on the declared ages of African footballers which it claims is responsible for the untapped potential of African teams in senior football.

Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon are listed as having fielded the youngest players among 50 sampled A national teams in 2015 – 24.7, 25.1 and 25.3 years respectively.

Lionel Messi hits back at his critics

 The captain of the Argentina national football team is used to accusations of not doing enough for the national team but he isn't having it anymore. In an interview with TyC Sports, he let his feelings known in strong language.

    "I get annoyed when they tell us put in more effort, you don't feel the shirt. We were lucky enough to get to the final of the World Cup and the Copa America and it seems like we didn't do anything.  We got to two finals, for f***'s sake." he fired "We didn't win, what can you do, but we got to the final, we didn't lose in the last-16."

African Women's Championship: Cameroon maintain winning momentum

Young Aspiring Cameroon footballers Offered Chinese Scholarships

The 25 laureates will learn Chinese language for one year before attending a summer camp in China.The Chinese language institute, Confucius in collaboration with the Roger Milla foundation, Coeur d’Afrique and the support programme for communication on Sino-Cameroon relations, PAC4, on Tuesday May 6th at the campus of IRIC in Yaounde, launched a training programme for some 25 young Cameroonian footballers to take part in a summer camp in China next year.

David Moyes bids farewell to Manchester United club after just 10months in charge

David Moyes, the man who was handpicked by former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson to succeed him when he retired after 26 years in charge, has been sacked as the club's manager after only 10 months.Moyes, 50, was dismissed at a meeting with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward at the club's Carrington training ground this morning, BBC reports.Moyes left Everton to sign a six-year deal with Manchester United in 2013 but the premiere league champions have been playing poorly since he took over as manager.

The daughter of the Brazilian Fifa chief responsible for selecting world cup host Nations was given $2million

The daughter of a wealthy Fifa delegate who helped in the controversial decision to name Qatar and Russia future hosts of the World Cup received a £2million payment from a business associate of her father with Qatari links, it has been claimed.Antonia Wigand Teixeira, the daughter of Brazil's Fifa representative Ricardo Teixeira, was paid the large sum of money in 2011.It is not certain from whom the funds came, but it is thought that Sandro Rossell, the former president of Qatar-sponsored Barcelona football club, was behind the transfer.Documents seen by the Daily Telegraph show that Miss Teixeira was given the money on June 22 2010, when she was 10 years old.

Falcons versus Cameroon friendly match postponed


The friendly match between Nigeria women’s team, the Super Falcons, and their Cameroonian counterparts has been moved to April 29. The match was earlier scheduled for April 15 in Abuja.
