Countdown To 9 Digit Mobile Numbers In Cameroon

Cameroon will move from eight to nine digit numbers for mobile telephony on November 21st, due to an increase in the number of mobile subscribers.

Starting November 21st, the number below should be added at the beginning of the old/previous phone number:

    MTN: Add 6
    Orange: Add 6
    Nexttel: Add 6
    CAMTEL: Add 2

Failure to add the above number (s) will lead to an unsuccessful call or text message.
