So it's no surprise that he was conducting business even while in the middle of a workout session.
The 44-year-old mogul was spotted in Los Angeles on Thursday with a female companion dressed in workout attire and walking down the street, while giving his full attention to his mobile device.
But the duo spend the entire exercise session embroiled in separate conversations on their smartphones.
The Big Home singer alternated between texting and chatting via his bluetooth earpiece.
He wore a black T-shirt, knee-length gray Nike shorts and black high-top sneakers.His unidentified friend was in black leggings, a white pullover top and white trainers with a rainbow sole.
The star, whose birth name is Sean Combs, has many reasons for topping Forbes' list.
His fortune was earned through multiple businesses, including music, the Sean John clothing line, his Ciroc brand vodka and a new cable channel called Revolt TV.He beat out fellow moguls Dr Dre ($550m) and Jay Z ($520m) on the Forbes list.
He is the father of five: sons Justin aged 20, Christian, aged 16, and daughters Chance, aged seven, and twins D’Lila and Jessie, also seven.
