Samuel Eto'o and Georgette meet Pope Francis

Soccer player Samuel Eto’o and Georgette met Pope Francis on September 1, 2014, for a special audience held before a special interreligious “Match for Peace”, at the Paul VI hall at the Vatican.

Current and former soccer stars representing various religious faiths did participate in the “Match for Peace”, which was held in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday night.
