Watford agree Cameroonian striker Sebastien Bassong loan deal

The 28-year-old former Tottenham star’s deal keeps with the Hornets until early January, having been brought in the wake of injuries to other defenders.The club’s official website confirmed the news, adding: “Bassong has experience at the very highest level, having featured in the Premier League for the Canaries and Spurs – as well as in the Champions League during his time at White Hart Lane.

“The commanding defender also has international pedigree with Cameroon, representing his country at 2010’s Fifa World Cup in South Africa.”
