He allegedly paid part of the money while promising to pay the rest in due time.
Mendoze after his grilling at the Special Criminal Court today was immediately conveyed to the Kondengui maximum security prison.
The emblematic former GM was a Biya confidant for the over 10 years that he served at the helm of the state media corporation. Charges against him are expected to be made public by the legal department of the Special Criminal Court in the days ahead.
